Once the school opened under the name Philip Sheffield High School, there were several extracurricular activities for the students. The school, which was comprised of 350 students and nine teachers was bigger than nearly any other school in the province, so it had the resources and the personnel to have extracurricular activities. As seen in various yearbooks, student newspapers, and the Abbotsford, Sumas, & Matsqui Times, there was often copious amounts of extracurricular activities available for the students at the school.
